What to Send for a Spiral Freezer Belt Quote

Send what you have — a drawing, the old belt, or a few photos with a caliper in the picture. We reply with what can be matched, what still needs to be confirmed, and the next step. You do not need every detail to start.

01
Three kinds of buyer

Which One Are You?

Building spiral freezers or coolers (OEM)

You are designing a new machine or a new series, and the belt has to match your drum, drive and sprockets on every unit you build.

Send us

  • ✓The belt drawing, or the belt specification: width, rod pitch, rod diameter, link, edge type, material
  • ✓Drum diameter, turn ratio, inside turning radius and how the radius is measured (inside edge or belt centre)
  • ✓Running direction, ascending or descending, number of tiers, total belt length
  • ✓Drive arrangement: low-tension, direct, side or edge drive; position of drive and take-up
  • ✓Sprocket drawing, or tooth count, bore, keyway width and depth, material
  • ✓Working temperature range and cleaning method
  • ✓Expected quantity per machine and number of machines

What you get back

A drawing review — the points that are confirmed, the points that are missing, and any detail on the drawing that may cause engagement or turning problems. Your drawings are used only for your project and are not shared with other customers.

Replacing a spiral belt in your plant

Your belt is worn or damaged, the original supplier is too slow or too expensive, and you may not have the original drawing.

Send us

  • ✓Six photos: the whole belt, top view, underside, edge, any damaged area, and the drive — with a ruler or caliper in the close-ups
  • ✓Width, rod pitch and rod diameter measured with a caliper (measure pitch over 10 rods, not one)
  • ✓The original belt name or code, if you have it
  • ✓Drum diameter, running direction and total length, if known
  • ✓Sprocket photos and tooth count, if the sprockets will also be replaced
  • ✓A short section of the old belt, if one can be sent

What you get back

A list of what can be matched from your photos and what still needs a reading or a sample. Worn belts stretch and wear thin, so a worn reading is not always the original size — we tell you which readings to trust.

Supplying belts to your own customers (distributor or service company)

Your customer has sent you photos, an original belt code or a piece of old belt, and you need to know quickly whether it can be made.

Send us

  • ✓Whatever your customer sent you: photos, the original belt name or code, a drawing, or a sample
  • ✓Required length and destination
  • ✓Whether sprockets or accessories are needed with the belt
  • ✓Whether it is urgent (line down) or a planned replacement

What you get back

What can be matched and what to ask your customer for next, in a form you can forward. Packing is neutral, with no Chinese markings, and labels can follow your own requirements.

Six photos

How to Take the Six Photos

#PhotoWhat it should show
1Whole beltThe belt on the machine, or laid out flat
2Top viewA tape measure across the full width, edges included
3UndersideRods, links and any wear marks
4EdgeThe edge from the side and from above
5Damaged areaBroken rods, worn links, rough welds
6DriveSprockets or drum bars where they meet the belt

Use good light and keep the ruler or caliper in every close-up. Dimensions in mm or inches are both fine.

03
After you send it

What Happens After You Send It

  1. 1

We review what you sent and list what is confirmed and what is missing.

  2. 2

Indicative quotation from photos and basic dimensions; formal quotation once the drum diameter, turn ratio, running direction and sprockets are confirmed. Any revision is marked.

  3. 3

Sample or trial length where the project needs it — confirmed by photo against your drawing or old belt, then physically.

  4. 4

Order confirmation — every agreed detail is written on the proforma invoice and the confirmed specification.

  5. 5

Every Thursday, a status update for your order until the goods are collected at destination.

  6. 6

Before shipment — inspection data, photos and video, including a drum diameter test, are sent to you before the cases are closed.

FAQ

Questions Buyers Ask on This Page

Q1Can you quote from the belt width only?

No. Width is one of many dimensions. Drum diameter, turn ratio, running direction, belt structure and the drive are needed before a fit conclusion or a formal quotation. Photos and basic dimensions are enough for an indicative quotation.

Q2I don't have the original drawing. Can you still help?

Yes. Most replacement projects start from the old belt, photos or a sample. The dimensions are measured, checked against your equipment and confirmed with a sample before production.

Q3Can you match an original belt from its name or code?

Send the original belt name, code or a sample. The structure and dimensions are confirmed against it before quoting. A code alone is not used to confirm fit.

Q4My line is down. Can you ship by air?

Courier, air and sea freight are all used, depending on urgency, size and destination. The method is confirmed with you before shipment, and lead time is confirmed in writing in each quotation.
