This 18-page technical specification describes JBL Mesh Belt Sprockets as part of the conveyor drive system, matched to the belt or chain they drive.
It lists metal and polymer materials, the items confirmed for every sprocket — pitch and tooth profile, tooth count, diameters, bore, overall thickness, keyway and drive configuration — order reference dimensions, and reference photographs for seven belt types.
A similar diameter does not mean the right fit; final details are confirmed against the project drawing.
Sprockets: reference options and items confirmed per project
| Item | Reference options / confirmation |
|---|---|
| Metal materials | SUS304 / SUS316 / mild steel |
| Polymer materials | Nylon / UHMWPE / POM |
| Pitch and tooth profile | Matched to the selected belt or chain |
| Tooth count | Project-specific |
| Diameters | Outside, pitch and hub diameters follow the drawing |
| Bore | Round / square; fit and tolerances confirmed |
| Overall thickness | Project-specific, including the hub arrangement |
| Keyway / set screws | As required by the confirmed drawing |
| Drive configuration | Tooth rows, split form and mounting confirmed |
From the 2026-10-02 public specification, page 2. Options are structure-specific; reference examples do not establish interchangeable combinations. See page 2 →
Questions this document answers
+Which sprocket materials does the specification list?
SUS304, SUS316 and mild steel, and the polymers nylon, UHMWPE and POM (page 2). The choice depends on the belt structure and operating conditions.
+What is confirmed before a sprocket is ordered?
Pitch and tooth profile matched to the belt or chain, tooth count, outside, pitch and hub diameters, bore and fit, overall thickness, keyway or set screws, and drive configuration (page 2).
+Which belt types have sprocket reference photographs?
Chain-driven, spiral freezer, Z-type ladder, balanced weave, side-driven, eye link and flat wire / honeycomb belts (pages 6–17).
+Can I choose a sprocket by outside diameter alone?
No. The specification treats the sprocket as part of the drive system; pitch, tooth profile, tooth count, bore and keyway must match the belt or chain and the shaft.
+What should I send for a review?
Photos of the existing sprocket, the shaft dimensions and details of the belt or chain it drives. Email info@jblmeshbelt.com or WhatsApp +86 138 1487 2506 (page 18).
Replacing a sprocket or specifying a drive for a new conveyor?
A similar diameter does not necessarily mean the right fit.
JBL Mesh Belt treats Sprockets as part of the conveyor drive system, matched to the belt or chain and your equipment.
We review pitch, tooth profile, tooth count, bore, keyway and mounting details together.
Material and configuration options depend on the selected structure and operating conditions. Dimensions and other specifications can be customized, with final details confirmed against your project drawing.
Send us your existing sprocket photos, shaft dimensions and matching belt or chain information.
JBL Mesh Belt supports drive-system review and specification alignment to help reduce engagement and installation risks.
