1.Another builder's spiral can be matched from its own parts
Without the original maker's drawings, the belt section and sprockets were enough to read every fit dimension.
A waffle producer needed a new spiral belt and new sprockets for a cooling spiral originally built by an equipment maker in Türkiye. The customer sent a section of the belt and the sprockets. Every fit dimension was measured, a trial run made and compared with the original, and photos sent for approval before bulk production.

The line cools waffles on a spiral. Both the belt and the sprockets were due for replacement, and the original builder's drawings were not available. The customer sent the belt section and the sprockets to be copied.

Rod, link thickness and link sizes on the belt; width, hub, bore and tooth on the sprockets — every dimension that decides whether the new parts run on the existing spiral.

A trial run of belt and sprockets was made and compared side by side with the customer's originals. Photos of the comparison were sent for approval; bulk production started only after the customer confirmed.
| Checked | Customer's original | New sample |
|---|---|---|
| Link thickness | 2.42 mm (worn) | 2.71 mm (new) |
| Rod | 4.99 mm | Matched to the original |
| Pitch along the edge | Read with a tape | Read the same way — compared |
| Joint to the original | — | New section linked into the original belt |
| Bulk belt (before packing) | — | Link 2.71 / 12.70 / 27.24 mm · wire 1.51 mm · mesh 20.01 / 28.30 mm |
Caliper readings from the photos below. Final values follow the drawing confirmed with the buyer.

New sprockets were made to the customer's originals — bore, keyway and tooth — and run on the bulk belt to check engagement before the crates were closed.

1.Another builder's spiral can be matched from its own parts
Without the original maker's drawings, the belt section and sprockets were enough to read every fit dimension.
2.A worn sample is measured — then corrected to new
The original link read 2.42 mm after years of wear; the new link is 2.71 mm. Wear is identified, not copied.
3.Link the trial run into the original
Joining a trial section to the customer's belt shows pitch and link fit directly — clearer than any drawing.
4.Photos before bulk remove the risk for the buyer
The customer was worried at the start; seeing the trial run next to the original, photographed and measured, was what made the go-ahead easy.
✓ Evidence on this page: photos of the worn original belt and sprockets, 11 caliper readings on the originals, 8 photos of the trial run compared with and linked into the original, 7 readings on the bulk belt, a sprocket running test video and packing photos. Customer, location details and the original equipment brand are withheld.
Need a spiral belt and sprockets copied from your old ones?
Send a short section of the old belt, or photos with a caliper in the picture — usually a reply within 8 hours.
Yes. From a section of the original belt the fit dimensions are measured, a trial run made and compared with the original before bulk production.
Yes. Width, hub, bore and tooth were measured on the customer's sprockets and new sprockets made to match the belt.
The trial run is photographed next to your original with the same tools. Bulk production starts after you approve.
No. We state the country of the original equipment only; customer and equipment brands are not published.
